Welcome to St Clement’s and St John’s CE Infant School! 

We hope you and your family are well and excited about your child starting school in September. It is great that we are going to see you and your child(ren) at our Welcome Meeting on 22nd May 2025 at 6:00pm.

Stay and Play sessions

• Friday 27th June 2025
• Friday 11th July 2025

Times for these sessions are: 9:15am or 1:45pm. 

You must book your session in advance via the emailed link which to be sent out soon.

Please bring your child to the main office on these days.  Parents and carers are required to stay. 

Settling in session

Monday 8^th September 2025 - 9:30am, 10:30am or 2:00pm [You will be given a time to attend.]

Please bring your child to the main office on this day. They will have a further opportunity to see their classroom and meet their classmates. There will be a maximum of 10 children per class session on this day. Please send your child in school uniform. 

Parents and carers are invited to stay a coffee morning in the hall. During this time we will share further important information about starting school. 

Starting School

From Tuesday 9^th September 2025, your child starts attending school from 8:45am – 11:30am. Please send your child in school uniform. 

Staying for lunch

From Monday 15^th September 2025, all Reception children will stay for lunch. The gates open at the beginning of the day 8:45am and the collection is 1:00pm. Staying for lunch is a big milestone for children when starting school and this next step will allow them to become familiar with our lunchtime routines.

Staying all day!

From Friday 19^th September 2025, all children will attend school full time. The school day is from 8:45am until 3:10pm.
