At St Clement’s and St John’s we are committed to providing a caring, friendly and safe environment for all of our children. We believe that our children have the right to learn in a happy and secure atmosphere.
Hello! I am Miss Richards and I am St Clement’s and St John’s Anti-Bullying Champion. I spend most my time teaching Starfish class in Reception. We have a Playground Buddy in each class to help support me with making sure we have a compassionate and team building ethos across the school. Please make sure you know who to speak to in your class. They are wearing a buddy badge. What is Bullying?
The Anti-Bullying Alliance defines Bullying as: “The repetitive, intentional hurting of one person or group by another person or group, where the relationship involves an imbalance of power. It can happen face to face or online” We, at St Clement’s and St John’s, define and remember the concept of bullying as “STOP” – Several Times On Purpose.
Important things to remember:
If someone is doing something unkind to you say “stop I don’t like it”.
If someone continues to be unkind to you tell your teacher.
If someone is still continuing to be unkind to you, please come and speak to me.
We take Bullying very seriously and I am always happy to help! It is important to us to have a happy and safe school environment.
During anti-bullying week we all wore odd socks to celebrate what makes us all unique
